Integrate Africa Advisory Services (IAAS) is a Pan-African consulting firm based in Johannesburg, South Africa. IAAS brings together a team of African experts, including strategists, political and policy analysts, researchers, and communicators, all of whom possess extensive government and diplomatic experience at high levels. This collective expertise uniquely qualifies us in matters of African integration. We leverage this diversity to provide clients with bespoke advisory, research, and contracting services in areas such as African Union laws and policies, peace and security, economic integration, and geopolitical maneuvering.
IAAS’ mission is to prepare and enable Africans, African organisations, pan-African institutions, member states of the African Union, and international organisations to anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and adapt engagement strategies. This enables them to leverage opportunities and minimize risks associated with African integration.
IAAS offers tailored and demand-driven strategic guidance encompassing political, legal, economic, and socio-cultural realms. Our services include comprehensive power-play analysis, studies, compliance evaluations, risk and benefit assessments, training programs, technical assistance deployment, and high-level briefings to key players and decision-makers. With a commitment to delivering impactful outcomes, IAAS maintains a strong tactical focus on producing results that yield tangible real-world consequences.
The African Union is leading the drive to integrate Africa politically, economically, socio-culturally, and infrastructurally. Integrating Africa presents exciting opportunities for smart, sustainable, and socially responsible growth and development; however, this development also creates complex challenges, including political, economic, and socio- cultural disruptions at the national level.
Continentally, member states’ complex and competing interests generate a higher level of uncertainty; enhanced geopolitical volatility; vulnerable political consensus regarding the nature, extent, and depth of integration; and other unexpected risks and challenges associated with governance and compliance.
To maximise the benefits and minimise the risks associated with Africa’s integration, African stakeholders must invest in a deep strategic understanding of the dynamics behind African integration initiatives. This includes leveraging behind-the-scenes dynamics to better serve national and continental interests. Such investment will help stakeholders better identify leading players, positions, and interests while enabling them to develop tailor-made strategies to harness opportunities and mitigate both seen and unforeseen risks.
IAAS exists to provide practical, tailor-made, and sustainable solutions to these challenges.
